About The Story

When Lalita took her first bite of the magic mushroom, Aithon her guide told her the effect would last for six hours. 

Unbeknownst to her that was the start of the longest trip grappling with the uncertainty of finding an exit

It began with a beautiful journey where she encountered God, the only one she yearned for. 

The allure of being with the Great Creator of all led her deeper down the rabbit hole and initiated a ritual on her own. 

As the medicine coursed through her veins, it uncovered repressed emotions from her childhood and past generations, creating an illusion one should never dare to dip a toe in. 

The guilt, shame, sadness, aloneness, bitterness, and fear of the past threw her all over to the point where she wrote farewell letters to my family and loved ones as she saw clearly my future self end up in the Psychiatric hospital.

In the darkness within darkness, the gateway to all understanding a glimmer of light shone brighter. She followed it one step at a time.
