The scripture that will rinse your worry away (Luke 12:22–34)
If you find yourself have daily worries in your life. Either that be future, financial, friendship, or love. I have a special message for you, and I would like to invite you to put your worries down and offer those fears to the Lord Jesus and give him your trust that he will take care of you and everything you need in your life.
These words of Him in Luke 12:22–34 have said it all His promises.
Do Not Worry
22 Then Jesus said to his disciples: “Therefore I tell you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat; or about your body, what you will wear. 23 For life is more than food and the body more than clothes. 24 Consider the ravens: They do not sow or reap, they have no storeroom or barn; yet God feeds them. And how much more valuable you are than birds! 25 Who of you by worrying can add a single hour to your life[a]? 26 Since you cannot do this very little thing, why do you worry about the rest?
27 “Consider how the wild flowers grow. They do not labor or spin. Yet I tell you, not even Solomon in all his splendor was dressed like one of these. 28 If that is how God clothes the grass of the field, which is here today, and tomorrow is thrown into the fire, how much more will he clothe you — you of little faith! 29 And do not set your heart on what you will eat or drink; do not worry about it. 30 For the pagan world runs after all such things, and your Father knows that you need them. 31 But seek his kingdom, and these things will be given to you as well.
32 “Do not be afraid, little flock, for your Father has been pleased to give you the kingdom. 33 Sell your possessions and give to the poor. Provide purses for yourselves that will not wear out, a treasure in heaven that will never fail, where no thief comes near and no moth destroys. 34 For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.
Many of us may question how does it work by giving trust in Jesus and doing nothing? Is this just a simple way to be a lazy person? The answer is No! He wants us to work definitely, but instead of working because of fear, He wants us to work with love and kindness.
Many of us are working so hard just because of the fear and worry of nothing to feed ourselves in the next day, week, month, or year.
Is it a good motivation? To go into this world and put our whole life and energy for? I totally understand that because I was one of those who had no clue that all I did and worked so hard was an internally deep fear of an uncertain future. The more fear I had, the harder I worked.
What Jesus wants for us is to trust that He will provide for those who follow His words. He wants us to work on what we love and use the gift He equipped with us since the day we were born. That thing that keeps our heart and soul alive. Only we and Him who know. We don’t need to find it anywhere else but asking ourselves and guidance from Him alone.
He wants for you is to keep pursuing it with love and kindness and serve as many people as possible no matter what the outcome will be. Be a generous and good example of how He is. Therefore let go of possession because nothing is you, and nothing is yours. It is all God’s grace and the gift He gives for you to give to others. Doing all things in His name and grant all trust for the outcome to the Lord Jesus. He will bless you with success, joy, and happiness.
Therefore the blessing that manifests in success, money, and material things in this realm are just little and insignificant compared to what He will bless you in the Kingdom of God. The deep peace and joyful and the sense of living that no one will ever never take it away from you doesn’t matter how the circumstance will be. Belief and faith will take you through everything in life.
I wish to be one of inspiration and encourage you to follow your heart and your dream dearly. I believe that God has a plan for you. The deep, meaningful adventure life you will never ever imagine. When will you be ready to let go of your own and take His hand and let Him lead you on your true purpose of life? Give Him your trust, and He will never let go of you.
