How I became a writer
A story of blessing in disguise
Nothing was ever gone it just transformed
When I lost the most precious love I was so attached to.
It was not hard to leave another thing behind: the EGO.
I knelt and surrendered to something greater than myself.
A miraculous event happened. My Intuition — the internal GPS — took over my practical mind and led me to follow my heart to the tropical island where the story “Wild Love Holy Island” has taken place
Looking back it wasn’t a coincidence that suddenly, my cell phone broke before the trip. I was disconnected from the world and was fully present in life in front of me.
Desperate to connect and express, I found paper and pen as my companion. I started to journal the miraculous events, page after page until I lost the sense of time. I realized I love writing.
“You are a writer.” The silent thought came into my mind.
All of a sudden, I had a realization of my mission here on earth. My muscles got tense, my heartbeat got shallow, my body was tumbling and my tears were welling in the corner of my eyes.
“No, I can’t. I have never written anything.” said I with a mixed feeling of fear and excitement.
I stuck my fingers in my ears and refused to hear but the voice was louder as it came from within.
“You are, I will help you remember.”
“I don’t have a story.”
“I will give it to you.”
“Why me?”
“Because you will say yes.”
A short, firm, loud answer penetrated my heart and went toward my hand — like a deer thirsts for streams of water, I thirst for the story to be told. A stream of consciousness flowed through me as though it would never end.
That was how my journey as a writer began, the love that lost ignited a passion for expression in me and I am grateful.
In the end, nothing was ever gone it just transformed.
That is the reason why I am here and writing ever first story, “Wild Love Holy Island”, The Series. Despite how fearful I am, I am willing to do anything to serve the story.
