Week 11 • September 26, 2026
I tried to make my story serve too many people.
I wanted it to work as a novel, with the words standing alone.
I wanted it to work as audio alone.
And I wanted it to work as a video script.
The same problem of pleasing everyone.
I tried too hard, and I’m exhausted.
Finally, I came to the realization that I have to choose who I am talking to:
The one who is reading. The one who is listening. Or the one who is watching.
I can’t keep carrying all of them around.
And after sitting with it, I decided that I would not position my story as a novel, but as a full cinematic musical experience.
Which means the script is no longer written like a traditional novel.
It will focus more on the visual form.
And you know what?
This is really scary.
To let go of the idea of who I am and embrace a new identity.
But I’ve already stepped my feet inside it.
I’ve seen how my characters move and sing, and I can’t drop them.
They are so alive.
And fun.
As this new direction emerged, I had a hard time letting go of what I had already created—work that hasn’t even seen the world yet.
So I decided to share the evolution of how I create and let those earlier versions become part of the story too.
For today, I’d like to share the newest version with you.
